Chris Brown is receiving a surge of support from notable peers following his recent release from a British jail, with Justin Bieber among the first to publicly welcome him back.

Shortly after posting a photo from the airport to Instagram, Brown was greeted by Bieber’s comment: “Welcome home.” This message highlights their enduring friendship and musical partnership. Bieber joins a select group of celebrities, including rapper 50 Cent, who also expressed support. 50 Cent took to social media to celebrate Brown’s release, stating, “CB out he made bond, I’m only saying this because I believe he is the best overall artist out there. I’ve watched his entire journey!”

Brown was arrested last week in Manchester, England, on charges of grievous bodily harm with intent, related to a 2023 incident at London’s upscale nightclub Tape. Authorities allege that Brown attacked music producer Abe Diaw with a tequila bottle and then stomped on him while he was on the floor, leaving Diaw unconscious. The victim claims the injuries sustained were severe and long-lasting. Prosecutors reportedly have access to surveillance footage capturing the alleged assault.

Originally denied bail and remanded until June 13, Brown’s release came as a surprise after he posted nearly $7 million in bail. The timing is crucial, as it comes just days before the kickoff of his Breezy Bowl tour in Manchester. As part of his bail conditions, Brown must reside at a designated location in the UK and has surrendered his passport, although he is allowed to travel internationally for tour commitments.

Complicating matters, Abe Diaw has accused Brown of circulating false rumors about him following the alleged incident—an allegation that may impact upcoming legal proceedings. Brown, who has navigated multiple legal battles throughout his career, now faces a challenging chapter balancing court appearances and live performances.

Despite the legal pressures, the public show of support from fellow artists may provide a morale boost as Brown prepares for what lies ahead both on stage and in the courtroom.
