A romantic getaway turned into a federal investigation after a couple on Delta Flight DL312 from Minneapolis to Honolulu was allegedly spotted engaging in some seriously NSFW behavior in the middle of the economy cabin.
According to a fellow passenger who spoke to TMZ, the woman was seen performing oral sex on her partner under a blanket — right in full view of other travelers.
The shocked passenger says the act was impossible to ignore, claiming, “It was blatant. Everyone around us knew what was going on.”
And yes, he even pulled out his phone and recorded part of it, capturing what appears to be a lewd encounter mid-flight.

FBI Called In After Landing
Law enforcement sources confirmed that the FBI and deputies from Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport were waiting on the ground when the plane touched down Wednesday.
The incident had already been flagged by the flight crew, who are required to report any potential indecent exposure or criminal activity.
For now, no arrests have been made. The case will reportedly be reviewed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Hawaii, which will decide whether the couple could face charges.

Delta’s Response
Delta Airlines kept things professional and tight-lipped. A spokesperson declined to comment on the alleged incident, instead deferring to law enforcement for updates.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Attorney’s Office hasn’t yet issued a public statement on whether charges are likely.
What Happens If They’re Charged?
Airplane antics may seem like tabloid fodder, but the potential consequences are no joke. Engaging in sexual activity on a plane, especially when visible to others, can be considered:
- Indecent exposure
- Lewd and lascivious behavior
- Interference with a flight crew (if it disrupted operations)
If federal prosecutors move forward, the couple could face hefty fines or even jail time — not exactly the dream start to a Hawaiian vacation.
The Mile High Club: A Risky Tradition
The so-called “Mile High Club” has always carried a mix of mystique and controversy. While some couples see it as a bucket-list thrill, airlines and law enforcement see it as a public indecency issue.
But what made this case different? Most alleged encounters happen in bathrooms. This couple, however, allegedly took things to the next level in their seats, surrounded by dozens of passengers — including children.
That boldness is what left so many on board horrified, with one witness saying, “I’ve never seen anything like it. We were all just looking around like, ‘Is this really happening?’”
Social Media Reacts
As news spread online, social media exploded with reactions ranging from disgust to disbelief:
- “People can’t even wait until Hawaii?!”
- “Imagine paying for extra legroom just to see THIS.”
- “Delta really stands for Doing Everything Lewd To All.”
Memes of blankets, Delta wings, and “in-flight entertainment” flooded X and TikTok by Thursday morning.
The Bottom Line
What was supposed to be a tropical escape may have just landed this couple in hot water with federal authorities.
Whether or not prosecutors file charges, the story has already secured them an awkward place in Mile High Club infamy.
