Veteran Dancehall singer Empress has officially confirmed that she and her longtime partner, fellow Dancehall artist Nutty Neithan, ended their relationship last year.
The Big Masavu hitmaker had been in a relationship with Nutty Neithan for over 11 years, and together they share children. However, she took a break from music to focus on her family, only to part ways with Neithan in 2023 due to undisclosed personal reasons.
Empress decided to make their breakup public through her Instagram stories on Saturday morning, revealing that she has been receiving messages, videos, and screenshots about Nutty Neithan’s interactions with other women. She urged fans to stop sending her such updates, emphasizing that she has moved on.
“I would like to formally come out and inform the public that me and Nutty Neithan broke up last year due to personal reasons I won’t disclose.
So to you all out there that have been constantly sending me videos, screenshots of him with his different conquests—please stop. I am not sure what your intentions are for doing this, but it’s not necessary. We both moved on, so mwewumuze. Thank you.”
