Floyd Mayweather Kicks Off $5 Million Birthday Celebration in Miami
Floyd Mayweather is kicking off his 48th birthday celebrations a bit early this year, and he’s doing it in grand style. The undefeated boxing legend has flown in around 400 guests to South Beach for a week-long party leading up to his official birthday on Monday.
A $5 Million Celebration
TMZ Sports has learned that Mayweather has spared no expense, spending upwards of $5 million on the week of festivities. The birthday bash includes booking luxury hotels throughout Miami Beach for his guests. But that’s just the beginning of the extravagance. Floyd has lined up an array of exciting activities, including:
- Beach parties
- ATV tours
- Roller-skating (a favorite pastime of Mayweather)
- Bowling
- A mansion event and a yacht party
Celebrity Guests and Special Performances
While the guest list remains under wraps, it’s expected that many of Mayweather’s celebrity friends will be attending, with possible special musical performances to keep the party going.
Lavish Gifts and Extravagant Moments
As seen in previous years, Mayweather can expect some incredible gifts. Last year, he received a $150K timepiece from Avi & Co. for his birthday, and it’s safe to assume that this year’s celebrations will include equally extravagant presents.
The party kicks off Monday night, with celebrations continuing through February 24th.
