Jay-Z and Beyoncé have subtly dismissed speculation that they are involved in a legal dispute with A$AP Rocky and Rihanna. As rumors spread across social media, Roc Nation’s official X (formerly Twitter) account put an end to the chatter with a simple yet pointed post: “Don’t be dumb.” The statement also doubled as a clever nod to A$AP Rocky’s upcoming album, Don’t Be Dumb.

Fans Push Back Against the Speculation

Skepticism over the rumors was already circulating among fans, with many questioning the logic behind such claims. One fan noted, “People have to use their heads,” highlighting that both A$AP Rocky and Rihanna share the same management team as Jay-Z. Another pointed out the absurdity of the idea: “Why would Jay-Z and Beyoncé, or Jay-Z and anyone, be suing two of his biggest clients? Let’s use our heads and stop wishing bad on these successful Black people.”

Others outright dismissed the speculation, emphasizing Jay-Z’s long-standing business relationship with Rihanna. “Why would Hov or anyone in his circle go after Rihanna? Silliness. He discovered her, and they made millions together. Hopefully, we get a Hov verse on the album, though,” another fan added.

A$AP Rocky Moves Forward with Don’t Be Dumb

Although A$AP Rocky is not entangled in a legal battle with Jay-Z, he recently emerged victorious from a separate courtroom struggle. In a case dating back to 2021, former associate A$AP Relli accused Rocky of firing a gun at him. After weeks of testimony, a jury cleared Rocky of all charges. When the verdict was announced, he celebrated with Rihanna, whose presence was a quiet but powerful show of support.

Now that the case is behind him, Rocky is refocusing on his music career. Mere hours after his legal victory, he officially revealed the title of his upcoming album, Don’t Be Dumb. Shortly after, he teased a snippet of a new track, spitting the line, “Me and these rappers, we nothing alike.” Fans are eagerly anticipating the project, which features previously released singles like Highjack, Tailor Swif, and Ruby Rosary.

Don’t Be Dumb was originally set for an August 2024 release, but Rocky postponed the drop at the last minute. With legal hurdles now cleared, fans are hoping for an imminent announcement of a new release date.
