On the latest episode of Joe and Jada, the So So Def founder gave fans an exclusive look into his wild nights and shared how he once set a new standard for cash showers that’s still talked about today.
“I used to throw the money up to the ceiling and let it shower the girls,” Dupri recalled with a grin.
“So, what other people are doing now, I used to do it specifically just to hit the ceiling because then the money would just splatter everywhere.”

Last month, Dupri dropped the trailer for Magic City: An American Fantasy at the American Black Film Festival in Atlanta, setting the stage for a highly anticipated five-part docuseries airing this summer on Starz.
The series promises an intimate look at nearly four decades of Magic City’s influence on hip-hop, sports, and Black culture.
Big names like 2 Chainz, Nelly, Shaquille O’Neal, Quavo, Killer Mike, and Big Boi share their stories, painting a vivid picture of the club’s unparalleled impact.
“Magic City: An American Fantasy is a riveting behind-the-curtain look at one of the most unique places in Black culture,” said Kathryn Busby, Starz’s president of original programming.
