Legendary rock band KISS is finally getting the recognition they deserve. The iconic group will be honored at the upcoming Kennedy Center Honors, and members Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss are overflowing with gratitude.
The Kennedy Center, one of the United States’ most prestigious cultural institutions, announced the award, with President Donald Trump, then serving as chairman, presenting the honor.

A Dream Come True for Ace Frehley
Ace Frehley reflected on his humble Bronx beginnings:
“This is a dream come true that I never thought would materialize.”
He expressed gratitude for being in the company of fellow honorees including Sylvester Stallone, George Strait, Gloria Gaynor, and Michael Crawford.
Peter Criss kept it simple and heartfelt:
“I feel so blessed. This is the greatest honor of our career.”

As chairman of the Kennedy Center at the time, President Trump highlighted KISS as one of the great rock bands in history, celebrating their monumental contribution to American music.
Frehley openly referred to himself as a Trump supporter in 2020, while Simmons has historically expressed both support and critique of the former president. Regardless, the band’s focus remains on their career milestone.
