What was supposed to be a celebration for Kodak Black’s birthday turned into an all-out chaos fest — and now one of the rapper’s baby mamas is in serious trouble with the law again.
Maranda Johnson — the 23-year-old mother of two of Kodak’s children — is facing five felony counts of criminal mischief after a heated altercation exploded inside a Florida nightclub earlier this year. Authorities say she was booked into Broward Main Jail on Thursday, with bond set at $12,500.
Birthday Bash Gone Bad
The charges stem from a January 15th blowup at The Manor, a popular Florida venue where Kodak — born Bill Kahan Kapri — reportedly invited all three mothers of his children to join him for his birthday celebration.
But instead of champagne toasts and friendly vibes, the night reportedly spiraled into pure drama when tensions between the women boiled over.
According to police, an argument broke out among the mothers, and things escalated when the brother of one of them jumped in. Witnesses say members of Kodak’s entourage got involved next — turning the birthday party into a full-on brawl.
Witness Claims Hair Was Pulled and Punches Thrown
One woman told officers Johnson yanked her wig clean off and then punched her in the face. Police reports also describe significant property damage at the club, including broken plumbing fixtures, electronics, and other equipment.
Not Her First Run-In With Kodak’s Other Baby Mamas
If this all sounds familiar, it’s because Johnson has a rocky history when it comes to clashes with Kodak’s other co-parents. Back in 2024, she was arrested after a confrontation with Jammiah “Maya” Broomfield — mother of Kodak’s son King.
That incident, which allegedly involved burglary, grand theft, and battery, also made headlines. Johnson later addressed it on Netflix’s Wags to Riches, claiming Broomfield exaggerated the events:
“[Broomfield] told [Kodak] I touched her car door, opened her car door. The door was already motherf***in’ open ‘cause she was trying to Mac me. I kicked the Mace out of her hand… I had a feeling I was gonna get arrested.”
Kodak’s Complex Family Tree
Johnson shares two children with Kodak — daughter Queen Yuri and son Prince. The rapper also has a daughter, Princess Isabella, with Daijanae Ward, and his son King with Broomfield.
What started as a night to honor Kodak ended with yet another headline-grabbing drama, adding one more chapter to the turbulent history between the women in his life.
