Megan Thee Stallion Adds New Allegations in Defamation Lawsuit

Megan Thee Stallion has intensified her legal battle against YouTuber Milagro Gramz by filing an updated lawsuit that includes new allegations. Initially filed in October, the lawsuit accuses Gramz of spreading false statements about Megan and running a targeted campaign to discredit the rapper following the Tory Lanez shooting incident.

Megan’s attorneys emphasized her stance in the filing: “Enough is enough.” They described Megan as “a victim of violent crime and champion of women’s rights” who will no longer tolerate the alleged harassment.

Gramz Claims Free Speech Defense

Last month, Milagro Gramz filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit, asserting that Megan’s legal action infringes on her First Amendment rights. According to legal journalist Meghann Cuniff, the motion argued, “Rather than rebut the allegations online, Plaintiff chose to use the Courts to intimidate and silence the Defendant from exercising her First Amendment rights… and also to serve as a warning to other critics.”

New Allegations: Alleged Payments to Harass Megan

In the updated lawsuit, Megan’s legal team introduced explosive new claims, alleging that Tory Lanez and his father, Sonstar Peterson, discussed paying Gramz to harass Megan. The filing cites a recorded prison phone call, in which the Petersons reportedly expressed confidence that Megan, referred to as “Ms. Pete,” would be unable to prove the payments.

“In one phone call, the Petersons confidently asserted that Ms. Pete would be unable to prove that Mr. Peterson paid Defendant for attacking Ms. Pete,” the revised lawsuit states. Lanez’s legal team has yet to respond to these new allegations.

Court-Mandated Mediation Scheduled

In a recent development, a judge ordered Megan and Gramz to participate in court-mandated mediation to resolve the dispute. The session is scheduled for March 10 and will take place via Zoom. Both parties are required to submit mediation reports within a week of the meeting.

Tensions Persist in Aftermath of Tory Lanez Trial

This legal battle underscores the ongoing tensions surrounding the Tory Lanez shooting trial, which concluded with Lanez’s conviction. Megan continues to push back against what her team describes as targeted harassment campaigns aimed at undermining her credibility.

As this case develops, it serves as a high-profile example of the intersection of social media influence, defamation, and free speech in the digital age.
