Actress Missi Pyle isn’t holding back — and she’s not buying into Donald Trump’s latest wave of headline-grabbing pardons, especially when it comes to reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley.
TMZ caught the Dodgeball and Galaxy Quest star at LAX on Wednesday, and she wasted no time dragging Trump’s recent decision to spring the Chrisleys from federal prison.
“It feels like we’re watching The Apprentice 2.0,”
Missi said, comparing the bizarre political drama to a rogue reality show.
Trump, the Chrisleys, and a Reality Show Nation
Missi didn’t mince words when asked whether she thought Trump felt a connection to the Chrisleys — reality TV stars who, like Trump, know how to stir up drama and headlines … and also have criminal convictions under their belt.
“It’s like Fox News is running the country,” she said bluntly,
slamming what she sees as a media-politics circus where fame outweighs fairness.
Chrisleys Set Free
The Chrisley Knows Best couple were serving time for bank fraud and tax evasion — Todd was sentenced to 12 years, and Julie to 7. But earlier this week, both were suddenly pardoned by President Trump, and released after serving less than 2 years.
The move sparked national backlash and speculation — especially as Savannah Chrisley, their daughter, revealed she personally received the call from Trump delivering the news.
Missi Pyle: “We’re Not Buying It”
While some supporters celebrated the pardon, Missi pointed out that many Americans see through the spectacle.
“There’s way more people out here who think this administration is total BS,” she said,
name-dropping Bruce Springsteen as one of the many public voices pushing back against Trump’s controversial leadership style.
No Filter, No Fear
Missi’s candid comments are part of a growing celebrity backlash to what critics say is Trump’s selective, publicity-driven use of presidential powers. And she’s clearly not afraid to voice what many others are whispering:
“It’s not about justice. It’s about TV ratings.”

Is Trump turning the White House into a reality show reboot?
