Randy Moss Says Justin Jefferson Could Be the Greatest Vikings WR Ever

Justin Jefferson is only four seasons into his NFL career, but he’s already making history — and now he’s getting the ultimate praise from one of football’s all-time greats: Randy Moss.

The Hall of Fame wide receiver told TMZ Sports he believes Jefferson is “on pace” to surpass even his own legendary achievements and become the best wideout to ever wear the Purple and Gold.

“On Pace to Be the Greatest Ever”

“I think Justin Jefferson is on pace to be arguably the greatest ever and definitely the greatest Viking to ever do it!” Moss said when asked about the 26-year-old star.

It’s a massive compliment coming from Moss, widely regarded as one of the most dominant receivers in NFL history and the current standard for greatness in Minnesota.

    A Complete Football Player

Moss explained why Jefferson has impressed him so much over the past four seasons:

“I’ve always been a fan of a complete football player, where you can score from anywhere on the field. And Justin brings that to the table.”

But Moss also had some advice for Jefferson — and every wide receiver aspiring to legendary status:

“If you want to really be legendary… you gotta find ways to get in that end zone and bring the fans out of the stands, up out of their seats.”

Justin Jefferson’s Impressive Stats So Far

Jefferson has already amassed eye-popping stats in his young career:

    • 495 receptions (5th all-time in Vikings history)
    • 7,432 receiving yards (4th all-time)
    • 40 receiving touchdowns (7th all-time)

Those numbers are even more staggering considering he’s only 26 years old and has plenty of years ahead of him.

    Locked in for the Future

The former LSU Tiger recently signed a four-year contract extension with the Vikings, ensuring he’ll continue dazzling fans in Minnesota for years to come.

With more time in the Twin Cities and a healthy trajectory, it’s entirely possible Jefferson could climb past Moss and rewrite the Vikings record books.

    Fans React to Moss’ Comments

NFL fans and Vikings Nation lit up social media after Moss’ glowing endorsement:

???? “When Randy Moss calls you the next GOAT, you listen. Jefferson is THAT guy.”
???? “JJ is a beast already. Can’t wait to see him pass Randy someday.”
???? “Minnesota has been blessed with generational talents at WR. Justin’s just getting started.”

    The Torch is Being Passed

It’s rare for NFL legends to so openly embrace the rise of the next generation. But Moss’s comments make one thing clear: he sees something truly special in Jefferson — and he’s rooting for him to go even higher.

???? Do you think Justin Jefferson will surpass Randy Moss as the greatest Vikings WR ever? Or does Randy’s legacy still stand above all? Sound off in the comments below!
