Dame Dash’s Criticism
During the interview, Dash weighed in on JAY-Z’s legal troubles and suggested that the rapper needs broader media support to navigate the accusations he faces.
“He got to get to People magazine and Entertainment Tonight right now ’cause they on his head,” Dash said. He also took aim at Drink Champs, asserting, “Those are the guys that hold him down no matter what he does.”

N.O.R.E. didn’t stay silent, taking to Instagram Stories and posting a sharp response:
“Lame Dash, more clueless than Stacey,” referencing Dash’s cousin, actress Stacey Dash.
The podcast host followed up with a video directly addressing Dash’s remarks:
“You’ve been coming at me, and you think I ain’t got time. I’m not like these other people. I got time,” N.O.R.E. said.
He called out Dash for spreading conflict:
“If you got beef with one person, you supposed to keep that beef with one person. You got beef with everybody around [JAY-Z]. You became the Lame Dash. We don’t wanna disrespect you. And I’m trying not to as much as I can because I actually respect the sh*t out of you.”

Dash also claimed he once supported N.O.R.E. during his career struggles at Def Jam:
“When Def Jam was robbing him for his marketing money, I stepped in… I demanded they give him what he deserved. Did I ask for a dollar? No.”

“If he wanted money, he could’ve asked… I don’t even remember if he got paid. But I know when I helped him with his reggaeton records, I didn’t ask for a dime.”
