SZA’s highly anticipated album Lana, a follow-up to her blockbuster S.O.S., is finally here after a slight delay. Originally slated for release on Friday, December 20, the album’s drop was postponed to the afternoon due to Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) president Punch taking responsibility for the mishap.

“12 PM. It’s my fault,” Punch tweeted, acknowledging the delay.

Despite the setback, fans are now diving into the 15-track project, which includes a fiery guest appearance from Kendrick Lamar on the standout track “30 for 30.”

Kendrick Lamar Shines on “30 for 30”

The Compton rapper delivers a powerful verse, showcasing his signature wordplay and introspection:

“Blow the ’87 guts, why they waitin’ on us?
Tell ’em I was on PCH
You fckin’ with nggas that’s thinkin’ they cuter than you, oh
Say you on your cycle, but he on his period too, oh
The tables been turnin’ so much, I was thinkin’ it’s foosball.”

Lamar’s appearance highlights the continued synergy between SZA and her former TDE labelmate, adding depth and energy to the project.

Grand National Stadium Tour with Kendrick Lamar

Following the album’s release, SZA and Kendrick Lamar will join forces for the Grand National stadium tour, kicking off in April 2025. The 21-city trek will support both Lana and Lamar’s GNX album, promising a dynamic showcase of two of the biggest names in music today.

SZA Opens Up About Imposter Syndrome

While fans celebrate her new release, SZA recently revealed her struggles with imposter syndrome. In a November interview with British Vogue, she admitted feeling “scared” about headlining London’s iconic Glastonbury Festival.

“I just felt like nothing I could do would be enough for Glastonbury, no matter what I did,” SZA confessed. Despite her apprehension, she remains determined.

“I want to be the second Black woman in history [to headline Glastonbury], but then it’s such a f*cking tall order. No matter what you do here, you will be subject to criticism. Because of who you are. But that’s life, you know?”

A Bold New Chapter for SZA

With Lana now out and her Grand National tour on the horizon, SZA continues to solidify her place as one of the most impactful artists of her generation. From overcoming personal doubts to delivering groundbreaking music, SZA’s journey remains an inspiration to fans worldwide.
