Digital creator-turned-singer Uncle Chumi has revealed a deeply personal chapter of her life, sharing how she unknowingly carried a pregnancy for four months before receiving heartbreaking news at the hospital.
Speaking candidly, the Gwokute Gwobba singer disclosed that she only learned about her pregnancy after being checked into a hospital by her close friend Kiisa. Doctors then informed her that the foetus was no longer able to grow due to a lack of antenatal care, forcing her to undergo surgery.
“When I left Katongole’s place, I was already pregnant but had no idea. It wasn’t until I was at the hospital that doctors found out the foetus could no longer develop because I hadn’t been taking the necessary medicine,” Chumi shared.
Reflecting on the loss, Uncle Chumi expressed deep regret, admitting that the thought of the child she never got to raise still affects her emotionally.
Future Plans and Relationship Aspirations
Despite the painful experience, the singer has no immediate plans of having children. However, she did reveal that she dreams of being in a relationship with a Mzungu (white) man.
Uncle Chumi, who recently gained recognition in the music industry, continues to embrace new opportunities, and her journey—both personal and professional—continues to captivate her growing fanbase.
