Bronx rap sensation Ice Spice is giving fans a festive treat with the release of Y2K!: I’m Just A Girl (Deluxe) this holiday season. The expanded version of her debut album drops Wednesday, December 25, and features five new tracks, including the much-anticipated collaboration “Hannah Montana” with DaBaby and NLE Choppa.

What’s New on the Deluxe Edition

The deluxe version offers an array of fresh tracks and remixes:

    • “Hannah Montana” featuring DaBaby and NLE Choppa.
    • “BB Belt (Remix)” with Bb trickz.
    • “Popa (Remix)” featuring Anuel AA.
    • Original tracks “So What?” and “Like.”

RiotUSA, Ice Spice’s frequent collaborator, takes the reins on production, ensuring the project retains its signature sound while exploring new directions.

    Fan Engagement and Anticipation

To drum up excitement, Ice Spice invited fans to vote on Instagram for their favorite cover design—pink or blue—created by renowned photographer David LaChapelle. The fan interaction highlights Ice Spice’s savvy approach to building anticipation and maintaining a strong connection with her audience.

    Reflecting on the Original Y2K!

The original Y2K! debuted in July and featured standout tracks like:

    • “Phat Butt.”
    • “Did It First” featuring Central Cee.
    • “Think U The S**t (Fart),” where Ice Spice addressed her feud with Latto.

Contributions from Travis Scott and Gunna added star power to the 10-song project, which debuted at No. 18 on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 28,000 units—an improvement from her prior project Like..? which sold 15,000 copies in 2023.

    Creative Vision and Growth

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Ice Spice, a four-time Grammy nominee, shared her approach to the album:
“I wanted to branch out and experiment with different sounds. Most of the time, I just make music I enjoy, but occasionally, I’ll deliver something for the fans. It’s all about having fun and making tracks that feel good.”

Fan Love and a World Tour

On Twitter, Ice Spice expressed gratitude to her loyal fans:
“Thank you to everyone who rocked with me from Like..? to now. The Y2K! WORLD TOUR has been a blast. Numbers are cool, but the energy in Boston last night? Unreal!”

    Looking Ahead

With the holiday release of Y2K!: I’m Just A Girl (Deluxe) and her rapidly growing global fanbase, Ice Spice continues to cement her position as one of rap’s boldest voices. Blending infectious beats with unapologetic lyrics, she proves she’s more than a viral sensation—she’s a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
