Cori Broadus, the youngest daughter of rap legend Snoop Dogg, has revealed that she is expecting her first child with fiancé Wayne Deuce. The joyful announcement was made on Monday, Dec. 23, in an exclusive interview with E! News.
“I found out on Oct. 28,” Cori shared. “This baby is so unplanned, but we are soooooo blessed.” The mom-to-be added that she has been feeling great during her first four months of pregnancy, despite being categorized as high-risk due to her lupus diagnosis.
A High-Risk Pregnancy Filled With Faith and Hope
Cori acknowledged the concerns surrounding her pregnancy, saying, “I’m a high-risk pregnancy, and doctors were very concerned for me and the baby, but God has His hands on me. Me and the baby are doing perfectly fine.”
The couple also revealed the baby’s gender—it’s a girl! Cori expressed her excitement, saying, “I’m just excited to love on my baby girl and make her feel like she’s the prettiest in the world. Growing up, I wasn’t the most confident and never felt like I fit in, so I want to instill all those beautiful things in her from a young age.”
Wayne added, “I’m thrilled to have someone that looks like Cori. I know she’s going to be so beautiful. We can’t wait to shower her with love and build a wonderful life for her.”
Snoop Dogg’s Reaction to the Big News
When Snoop Dogg and his wife, Shante Broadus, heard the news, they were overjoyed. “My dad was hoping for a grandson,” Cori laughed, “but they’re so excited their baby girl is having a baby.”
This marks the eighth grandchild for Snoop and Shante, further adding to their growing family legacy.
