Renowned Ugandan songwriter Dokta Brain is gearing up to make history in 2025 with an ambitious project titled “7/14 Shine Your Light”. Known for penning hit songs for artists like Sheebah, Dokta Brain is taking a bold step to elevate the music industry with a groundbreaking concept.

The Vision: 98 Tracks for 14 Vocalists

At the heart of the 7/14 Shine Your Light project lies a unique vision: creating seven songs for each of 14 handpicked vocalists, resulting in a total of 98 tracks. Each artist will receive a curated EP, designed to spotlight their talent and tell meaningful stories.

“7/14 is a project that’s going to bless 14 vocalists with 7 songs each. Every one of them will get an EP, and in total, they are 98 songs. My aim is to give talented vocalists out there something that I’m not selling,” shared Dokta Brain.

This innovative approach aims to empower vocalists and provide them with a platform to shine while delivering a cohesive and purpose-driven musical collection.

    A New Musical Direction

To further differentiate 7/14 Shine Your Light from his previous work, Dokta Brain plans to move away from his trademark Luganda-infused commercial hits. Instead, he’ll focus on crafting music that transcends traditional boundaries and appeals to global audiences.

“There will be little Luganda in the songs because that’s my commercial side. I’ll do music that can be pitched in movies, TV shows, and more,” he explained.

This shift signals an evolution in his artistic approach, blending creativity with versatility to explore new opportunities in the global entertainment landscape.

    Why It Matters

The 7/14 Shine Your Light project is more than just a musical endeavor—it’s a revolutionary initiative aimed at nurturing talent and redefining the possibilities for Ugandan music. By producing high-quality tracks with universal appeal, Dokta Brain is not only showcasing local talent but also positioning Ugandan music on the international stage.

    Anticipation for 2025

As fans and industry insiders await the release of the 7/14 Shine Your Light project, there’s no doubt that Dokta Brain is set to leave an indelible mark on Uganda’s music scene. With his bold vision and commitment to empowering artists, this project promises to be a game-changer.

Stay tuned for updates as Dokta Brain brings this ambitious dream to life, proving once again why he remains one of Uganda’s most visionary songwriters.
