Shocking Bodycam Footage Shows Bryan Kohberger’s Idaho Murder Horror

The terrifying aftermath of Bryan Kohberger’s murders of four University of Idaho students is now on full display in newly released police bodycam footage—and the video is nothing short of gut-wrenching.

The footage opens with a surviving roommate in tears, recalling the horrifying moment she saw Kohberger wearing a black mask, walking past her—and even making eye contact—after he fatally stabbed Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin.

Survivor Recounts Horror Inside Idaho Home

In the footage, the roommate vividly describes seeing Kaylee sprint downstairs screaming that there was an intruder. The intruder, Kohberger, reportedly spoke in a calm but eerie tone, telling Kaylee:

“You’re going to be okay. I’m going to help you.”

The roommate says she never heard Kaylee again, and she watched Kohberger exit the house through a sliding glass door after his encounter with Kaylee.

Hysterical and trembling, the roommate detailed trying to call Kaylee, Madison, and Xana, but received no answer. She eventually went to bed, mistakenly assuming Xana had simply fallen asleep.

    Disturbing Details of the Attack

She also recalled hearing “a loud noise and there was light” during Kohberger’s rampage but didn’t immediately recognize the danger. When she woke the next morning, she realized something was terribly wrong:

“We woke up this morning and no one was waking up at all. Like no one was answering, which was really weird cause all of us wake up around like 9 or 10.”

At that point, she called two friends to come over, and they contacted the police. The tragic discovery followed: the bodies of Kaylee, Madison, Xana, and Ethan. Two roommates—Dylan Mortensen and Bethany Funke—survived the attack.

Kohberger’s Guilty Plea and Life Sentence

As widely reported, Kohberger pleaded guilty to the four murders and was sentenced to life in prison. Despite the sentencing, the motive behind the killings remains unknown, leaving the surviving friends and family with lingering questions and grief.

The Lasting Impact on the University Community

The chilling footage and survivor accounts underscore the horrific impact of Kohberger’s actions. The University of Idaho community, friends, and family continue to grapple with the loss of four bright young students.

Police bodycam footage, such as this, serves as a stark reminder of the trauma inflicted and the courage of those who survived.
