WWE Legend Mark Henry Blames Veteran Wrestler for Rampage Jackson’s Son’s Brutal Beatdown

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry is weighing in on the shocking fight involving Quinton “Rampage” Jackson’s son, Raja Jackson, and veteran wrestler Syko Stu … and he isn’t pointing the finger at Raja alone.

Henry told TMZ Sports he believes Syko Stu (real name Stuart Smith) deserves a portion of the blame after an ugly scene unfolded Saturday at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event in Los Angeles.

According to Henry, Stu should have known better than to provoke Raja — who’s still brand new to the wrestling world — by hitting him with a beer can before the event even started.

“You’ve got to be careful, one, who you’re messing with. And, two, what kind of example are you as a veteran for inciting a riot with a kid?” Henry said.

    How It All Went Down

The altercation reportedly began when Stu smacked Raja with a beer can during the pre-show. Later, as part of the promotion’s storyline, Raja entered the ring to get “payback.”

But things spiraled out of control fast.

Instead of keeping it theatrical, Raja knocked Stu out cold and unleashed a flurry of punches directly to his face — a brutal beatdown that left fans stunned and sent Stu to the hospital.

Clips of the fight went viral across Kick and Instagram, showing a chaotic moment that blurred the line between scripted wrestling entertainment and a very real brawl.

    Mark Henry’s Take

Henry admitted Raja also crossed a line by not holding back once he got inside the ring.

“Rampage’s kid needed to have enough respect for the business and control his anger,” Henry explained.

Still, Henry insisted the whole fiasco could have been avoided if Stu had simply acted more responsibly.

He pointed out that alcohol was likely involved before the match, saying:

“If indeed what I saw was what I saw, which is people before the show, during the day time, drinking and intoxicated … and you bust a bottle over a guy’s head and talk trash like that guy was not going to do nothing, yeah, you’re at fault.”

In short, Henry says Stu “bit off more than he could chew.”

    Aftermath: Hospitalization and Police Investigation

Following the violent exchange, Stu was rushed to the hospital. His brother later confirmed he was “conscious” and “currently resting” while recovering from his injuries.

Meanwhile, the incident is now under police investigation. Authorities confirmed a police report has been filed, and detectives are looking into whether charges could be filed against Raja or others involved.

    Rampage Reacts

Rampage Jackson himself was spotted reacting ringside, clearly shaken by what happened.

Though he hasn’t made a full public statement yet, sources close to the MMA legend say he was both protective of his son and concerned about the fallout from the brawl.

    The Bigger Picture

This isn’t the first time wrestling’s blurred lines between performance and reality have turned dangerous — but the incident is sparking debate in the wrestling world.

    Fans are now asking:

    • Should veterans bear more responsibility when engaging with rookies?
    • Did Raja simply let his temper get the best of him?
    • And will this derail Raja’s wrestling future before it even begins?

For now, one thing is clear: both men are facing scrutiny — one from the hospital, the other from detectives.

What do you think — was Raja Jackson justified in fighting back, or did Syko Stu get what he asked for? Sound off below!
