A spokesperson for Discord told TMZ:
“In the course of our investigation, we identified a Discord account associated with the suspect, but have found no evidence that the suspect planned this incident or promoted violence on Discord.”

The clarification comes after multiple media outlets suggested Robinson used Discord to coordinate the attack or conceal the weapon. Discord explained that the alleged messages were not on its platform at all:
- The communications were between Robinson’s roommate and a friend after the shooting.

- Discord confirmed that Robinson’s account has now been removed from the platform.
Authorities say that Robinson did make a “joke” on Discord, but it was unrelated to the attack, and the platform itself was not involved in planning or execution of the crime.
