Marcus Jordan — the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan — has officially struck a deal with prosecutors in his Florida DUI case, and one condition is as humbling as it gets: he must write a handwritten apology letter to the cop he berated during his arrest.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Marcus signed a pretrial intervention agreement on September 12 in Orange County, Florida.
If he follows through on all requirements over the next 12 months, prosecutors have agreed to drop all three criminal charges against him, which included:
- Possession of ketamine
- Resisting an officer without violence
- Driving under the influence (DUI)
Conditions of the Agreement
Marcus’s deal comes with strict stipulations. Over the next year, the 33-year-old must:
- Submit to random drug testing
- Install an ignition interlock device in his car
- Complete 50 hours of community service
- Donate $1,000 to charity
- Write a 250-word apology letter to the officer he lashed out at during his arrest
If he successfully checks every box, prosecutors have agreed to dismiss the charges and close the case.

The case stems from Marcus’s headline-grabbing night out in Maitland, Florida back in February 2025.
Police say Marcus was drunk behind the wheel of his Lamborghini SUV when he got it stuck on nearby train tracks.
Bodycam footage from the arrest later went viral — showing Marcus name-dropping his father Michael Jordan in what appeared to be an attempt to avoid trouble. Cops said he also acted combative and disrespectful while in custody.
