Dolly Parton fans will have to wait a little longer to see the legendary singer-songwriter live in Las Vegas. The country icon revealed on Instagram that her doctors have advised her to undergo multiple health procedures, forcing her to push back her December performances at Caesar’s Palace Colosseum.
Dolly’s Health Update
In a heartfelt yet humor-laced post, Dolly told fans she’s still managing ongoing health challenges.
“Doctors tell me I must have a few procedures,” she wrote, joking, “I told them it must be time for my 100K mile checkup.”
The singer clarified that the procedures aren’t cosmetic — they’re necessary to ensure she can deliver the best possible performances for her fans.
Shows Rescheduled
Because of the procedures, Dolly’s six December shows have been rescheduled to September 2026. She emphasized that ticket holders — some of whom paid up to $1,500 for resale seats — deserve a show she can fully prepare for and enjoy performing.
Fans are encouraged to adjust travel plans accordingly, including flights and hotel bookings.

Dolly Isn’t Retiring
Despite the setbacks, Dolly reassured followers that she’s not stepping away from the spotlight.
“I think God’s just telling me to slow down a bit,” she said, noting that she’ll continue working on projects in Nashville while taking care of her health.
This year has been particularly challenging for the country legend, following the passing of her longtime husband, Carl Dean, in March.
A Message for Fans
Dolly’s update blends honesty with her trademark humor, showing gratitude for her fans’ support while prioritizing her wellbeing. She promises that when she returns to the stage, it will be worth the wait.
“Thank you for understanding — I can’t wait to see you all next September!”
