Hip-hop’s fiercest feud just got messier — and this time, Saucy Santana is at the center of it.
On October 1, the outspoken rapper jumped into the ongoing drama between Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, delivering a fiery rant during a live Twitter Space that also dragged the City Girls into the mix. In the unfiltered tirade, Santana accused Minaj of fueling drama behind the scenes, exposed cracks within the City Girls, and hurled some of his harshest words yet at the Queens rap legend.
Santana Calls Out “Super Freaky Girl” Fallout
Santana began by revisiting a moment from 2022, when JT appeared on the “Super Freaky Girl (Queen Mix)” alongside Minaj. According to him, Yung Miami (aka Caresha) was blindsided by the collaboration, only finding out about it after it went public.
“Bitches had to find out about motherfuckin’ Super Freaky Girl on the internet,” Santana blasted. “Bitch, how you in a group with a ho and don’t tell her you got a Nicki Minaj feature?”
The revelation, he suggested, created friction inside the City Girls, straining the duo’s already fragile dynamic.
Accusing Nicki of Stirring the Pot
But Santana didn’t stop there. He claimed that Minaj herself escalated the situation by texting Yung Miami directly, pressuring her to speak up during JT’s spat with Cardi B.
“Nicki texted Caresha, ‘You and Santana not going to say nothing?’ Noooo. They arguing about you, Nicki Minaj. Nobody not getting in that,” Santana recalled.
His comments painted Minaj as someone who thrives on conflict — allegedly attempting to recruit others into feuds that don’t involve them.
“Mangy-Ass Mutt”
In one of the night’s most viral moments, Santana ripped into Minaj with a string of insults, calling her a “lap dog” and a “mangy-ass mutt.” The cutting words were shocking even for Santana, who’s known for speaking his mind.
For him, the name-calling wasn’t just pettiness — it was a way of underscoring what he sees as Minaj’s pattern of division and manipulation.
A Feud That Won’t Die
The blow-up adds another chapter to the long-running Nicki Minaj vs. Cardi B rivalry, which has dominated hip-hop discourse for nearly a decade. The feud has pulled countless rappers into its orbit, forcing artists to pick sides — or risk getting dragged.
For the City Girls, who have worked with both Nicki and Cardi, the feud has been particularly messy. Santana’s comments suggest those alliances haven’t come without drama, both publicly and behind the scenes.
Santana’s Stand
By voicing his frustrations so openly, Santana positioned himself as one of the few rappers willing to challenge Minaj directly. His rant not only spotlighted behind-the-scenes tensions but also reignited the larger conversation about the power dynamics shaping female rap today.
Whether the fallout will fracture relationships further remains to be seen — but one thing is certain: hip-hop’s most explosive rivalry just got even hotter.
