Deontay Wilder Storms Off Live TV After Tyson Fury Clash

Boxing fans expecting a routine fight promotion got anything but on Tuesday (Feb. 4), when heavyweight superstar Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder abruptly stormed out of a live talkSPORT studio following a fiery on-air clash that reignited his long-simmering feud with Tyson Fury.

What was supposed to be a straightforward media stop to hype Wilder’s upcoming April 4 heavyweight showdown with Derek Chisora at London’s O2 Arena quickly unraveled — turning into one of the most uncomfortable and explosive live boxing interviews of the year.

And yes… cameras were rolling the entire time.

️ A Promo Segment Goes Off the Rails

Wilder appeared on the show alongside Derek Chisora, with the clear intention of focusing on their looming clash — a bout that will mark a career milestone for both fighters, as it will be the 50th professional fight for each man.

But the calm didn’t last long.

Veteran presenter Simon Jordan shifted the conversation toward Wilder’s infamous three-fight rivalry with Tyson Fury, a topic that has remained a raw nerve for the former WBC heavyweight champion.

    Wilder immediately shut it down.

“I don’t want to talk about him,” Wilder said firmly.
“We’re here about Derek Chisora. We’re not going to talk about him. Understand that.”

The tension in the room was instant — and unmistakable.

“Because I Know the Truth”: Wilder Snaps

Instead of pivoting back to the Chisora fight, Jordan continued pressing, referencing Wilder’s past comments and controversial explanations for his losses to Fury.

That’s when Wilder completely lost his patience.

“Because I know the truth,” Wilder shouted.
“I have the facts. Understand that.”

Moments later, the Bronze Bomber stood up from his chair and stepped toward Jordan, forcing security personnel to quickly intervene before the situation escalated into a physical confrontation.

Throughout the heated exchange, Chisora remained seated and silent, visibly choosing not to involve himself in the chaos unfolding beside him.

    “I Don’t Give a F—”: Wilder Walks Out

As producers and security tried to regain control, Wilder’s frustration boiled over completely.

    “I don’t give a f— about that,” he yelled.
“I said we didn’t want to bring him up. It ain’t got s— to do with him.”

Seconds later, Wilder stormed out of the studio, abruptly ending the interview and leaving the scheduled promotional appearance unfinished.

The clip quickly began circulating online, sparking intense fan debate, with some applauding Wilder for standing his ground — while others criticized the outburst as unprofessional.

Wilder Reignites Cheating Allegations Against Tyson Fury

Before exiting, Wilder once again revived his most controversial claims — accusing Tyson Fury of cheating during their trilogy of fights.

    He didn’t mince words.

“He’s the biggest cheat in boxing,” Wilder said.

The former champ doubled down on long-standing allegations that Fury tampered with his gloves, accusations that have been widely dismissed by boxing officials but continue to fuel online conspiracy debates among fans.

Wilder also hinted that more evidence is coming.

“When the documentary and everything starts to come out, I’m going to show everything,” he warned.

The Claims That Won’t Go Away

During the exchange, Simon Jordan referenced several explanations Wilder has previously offered for his defeats to Fury, including:

    • Allegations that his water was spiked
    • Claims of biased referee counts in their 2018 draw
    • The infamous assertion that his heavy ring-walk costume weakened his legs before their second fight

While Wilder has since walked back the costume explanation, he continues to stand by the others — insisting foul play played a role in his losses.

Tyson Fury Fires Back on Instagram

Fury didn’t wait long to respond.

Just one day earlier, the “Gypsy King” addressed the renewed accusations on Instagram with a dismissive tone.

“You don’t hear me crying and moaning about it,” Fury wrote.
    “That’s not me.”

The post added fuel to an already volatile rivalry — one that clearly still lives rent-free in both fighters’ minds, even years after their last meeting.

Where Wilder Stands Heading Into April

Beyond the drama, the April 4 bout is a critical moment in Wilder’s career.

Once considered one of the most feared knockout artists in boxing history, Wilder has struggled for consistency in recent years.

    His recent record includes:

    • A 2–4 run in his last six fights
    • Brutal knockout losses to Zhilei Zhang and Joseph Parker
    • A comeback win last June, stopping Tyrrell Anthony Herndon

At 38, questions continue to swirl about whether Wilder can reclaim elite heavyweight status — or if time is finally catching up to the Bronze Bomber.

    Chisora’s Last Stand?

On the other side of the ring, Derek Chisora enters the fight riding a three-fight winning streak and has openly suggested that this bout could be his final appearance in professional boxing.

Known for his durability, aggression, and fan-friendly wars, Chisora has built a reputation as one of the toughest outs in the heavyweight division — making the April clash a potentially explosive farewell.

Despite the chaos in the studio, Chisora kept his composure, letting Wilder’s emotions dominate the headlines.

What This Means for the Fight

Whether fans love or hate the drama, one thing is clear:

This incident just added gasoline to the promotional fire.

    The walkout:

    • Boosted social media chatter
    • Reignited global interest in Wilder
    • Put massive spotlight on the April 4 showdown

If nothing else, it proved that Deontay Wilder remains one of boxing’s most polarizing figures — capable of stealing headlines with a single moment.

    ️ What Do You Think?

Was Wilder justified in walking out — or did he let the Fury rivalry derail a crucial career moment?
