Renowned audio producer and backup artist Paddy Man, born Paddy Kayiwa Mukasa, has shared his approach to managing artists who attempt to record inappropriate content in his studio.

In an interview with Anna Talia Oze on Sanyuka TV’s Bigenda Bitya, Paddy Man revealed that he doesn’t tolerate vulgar lyrics or explicit material during recording sessions. Instead, he ensures such artists leave his studio empty-handed.

“When an artist comes to my recording studio and starts to record inappropriate content, I refund their money and let them go because I’ve done it before,” Paddy Man said.

    Praising Ethical Leadership

Paddy Man commended the late Hon. Father Simon Lokodo, the former Minister for Ethics and Integrity, for his relentless efforts in curbing pornography and promoting decency in music.

He reminisced about Father Lokodo’s decisive actions, including arresting individuals whose actions he deemed harmful to the country’s reputation. Paddy Man expressed hope for similar initiatives to uphold ethical standards in the music industry.

    Upholding Integrity in Music

Known for his stellar production skills and dedication to uplifting the music industry, Paddy Man’s firm stance underscores the importance of maintaining quality and integrity in music. His approach serves as a reminder to artists about the value of responsible creativity in shaping the industry’s future.

Stay tuned for more updates on Paddy Man and his contributions to Uganda’s music scene.
