Phiona Nyamutoro Shares How Divine Intervention Brought Her and Eddy Kenzo Together
Phiona Nyamutoro, Uganda’s State Minister for Minerals, has shared a heartfelt account of her relationship with music superstar Eddy Kenzo, revealing surprising details about how their love story began.
Speaking candidly, Phiona admitted that when she first met Eddy, she had no idea he was a celebrated artist.
“I met an ordinary guy called Eddy, and we became friends. One thing led to another, and now we are here,” she said.
Despite Eddy Kenzo’s fame and status as one of Uganda’s most recognized artists, Phiona said their connection felt natural and unpretentious. She now believes their union was divinely orchestrated.
“I didn’t know who Eddy Kenzo was, even though he’s a celebrated artist and popular in Uganda. But I believe it was God’s plan. I’m exactly the type of woman Eddy prayed for, especially considering his past,” Phiona revealed.
A Union from Two Different Worlds
Phiona reflected on how her career as a state minister and Eddy’s as an artist initially seemed like a mismatch, but their bond proved otherwise.
“Ordinarily, it is unbecoming of a girl in my career to end up with a guy in his career. But even in his career, Eddy isn’t ordinary,” she noted.
She added that even her pastors saw something special in Eddy Kenzo, further affirming her belief in their connection.
“They told me the grace on Eddy is so evident that you can’t deny it. Eddy Kenzo prayed to God for a woman exactly like me,” Phiona said.
