New details have emerged following the tragic death of actress Kaylee Hottle, with Maryland officials confirming that the 18-year-old Godzilla star died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in a car crash.
The Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled Hottle’s death an accident after determining she suffered fatal blunt force trauma in Tuesday’s collision. Officials also confirmed that additional toxicology testing is underway to determine whether drugs or alcohol were present in her system, though no results have been released.

The recordings indicate that Hottle was unconscious when first responders arrived at the scene. Emergency personnel requested an ambulance and medical helicopter while also working to locate members of her family and find a translator to assist because Hottle was deaf.
Despite emergency efforts, she was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
