Styles P is preparing to close another major chapter in his Hip-Hop career.

The LOX rapper recently held a private listening party to preview his upcoming three-part final album, Ghost of the Past, Present, and Future, giving guests an early look at a project centered on aging, accountability, legacy and identity.

The first installment is expected to arrive this fall.

Styles played the 11-track project for guests inside the downstairs lounge of his Strains For Life dispensary, where he was also celebrating the business’ one-year anniversary.

The ambitious project brings together several notable producers and appearances from Styles’ longtime LOX partners, Jadakiss and Sheek Louch.

But the title suggests this album is about more than simply another collection of songs.

Styles P, one-third of the Grammy-winning Hip-Hop group The LOX, is preparing a three-part album that he describes through the framework of his past, present and future.

The project is titled Ghost of the Past, Present, and Future, with the first installment expected this fall.

The event also marked the one-year anniversary of the dispensary, making the evening both a celebration of his business and a preview of what could be one of the final major projects of his recording career.

The first installment contains 11 tracks.

Production on the project includes work from AraabMuzik, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Rsonist of The Heatmakerz, giving the album a lineup that connects Styles’ veteran lyricism with established Hip-Hop production talent.

His LOX brothers Jadakiss and Sheek Louch also appear on the project.

The music reportedly tackles subjects that naturally come with a long career: getting older, taking responsibility, thinking about what one leaves behind and navigating the different versions of oneself that develop throughout life.

Styles makes his intentions clear on one track, rapping: “They saying lyrics is dead, fuck it, I’m resurrecting ’em.”

That line captures the larger idea behind the project.

Styles has spent decades building a reputation as a lyricist, and the new album gives him another opportunity to focus heavily on the craft that established his name.

The title itself comes from a spiritual concept Styles has developed over the years.

“In a spiritual sense, you’re always dealing with three different you’s,” he explained. “The past is what you’re dealing with, what you came up with.”

He views the present as a period of awareness and appreciation for life, while the future remains unknown.

Rather than pretending he knows exactly what lies ahead, Styles said he imagines his future self becoming “even more elevated.”

And this is not a project he has already finished from beginning to end.

Styles has started recording the second installment, while the third remains unwritten.

That makes the three-part structure especially interesting: the project is designed as a journey rather than one completed statement.

Styles P has been a major figure in New York Hip-Hop for decades as part of The LOX alongside Jadakiss and Sheek Louch.

The group’s career has been built largely around lyricism, street narratives and a traditional approach to Hip-Hop that has remained central to Styles’ identity.

His new project appears to draw directly from that history while examining where he is now.

The album is not simply framed as a collection of new songs. Styles has described the three-part concept through the different versions of himself represented by the past, present and future.

That perspective becomes particularly significant because he is calling the project his final album.

The first chapter is expected this fall, while work has already begun on the second.

The third installment, however, has not yet been written.

Outside music, Styles has also built a business identity around wellness.

He has been involved with ventures including Juices For Life and Farmacy For Life, while Strains For Life extends that focus into cannabis education and community programming.

Styles P’s project is significant because it brings together several defining parts of his career at once.

There is the lyricism that made him a respected member of The LOX, the business work he has pursued outside music and the personal reflection that comes with getting older.

The three-part format also gives Styles room to explore different stages of his life rather than trying to fit everything into one album.

His goal for his legacy appears straightforward.

“What I would hope my impact would be,” Styles said, “is for those who have received my impact is to say, ‘He was genuine, he was honest, and he was raw and authentic.’”

That statement gives the album an important lens.

Styles is not simply looking back at what he has accomplished. He is thinking about how people will remember the person behind the music.

The most personal element of the project may be its focus on the different versions of oneself.

Styles describes the past as what shaped him, the present as a time to appreciate life and the future as something he cannot fully predict.

That makes the album less about announcing an ending and more about documenting where he is in his life.

His music, business ventures and wellness philosophy have all become parts of that identity.

As he prepares the first chapter of what he calls his final album, Styles appears focused on leaving behind the same qualities he has tried to embody throughout his career: honesty, authenticity and genuine connection.

Styles P’s Ghost of the Past, Present, and Future is shaping up as a three-part farewell to his recording career — with the first chapter arriving this fall and two more chapters still to come.
