Jamie Foxx is going back to where it all started.
The award-winning comedian, actor, singer and producer is returning to his stand-up roots with “Jamie Foxx: Take Care of Yourself,” a new comedy special set to premiere October 7 on Hulu.
Hulu announced the project Thursday, unveiling the title, release date and first-look image for Foxx’s latest comedy offering.
U.S. viewers will be able to stream the special on Hulu, while eligible bundle subscribers can also watch it through Hulu on Disney+.

“Take Care of Yourself” is the latest project from Foxx under Hulu’s Hularious comedy banner.
The streamer describes the special as Foxx’s “most honest, evolved, and unforgettable chapter yet,” with the comedian taking a personal approach to the material.
The themes of self-care and personal growth are expected to play a central role as Foxx reflects on his life and career through his trademark comedic lens.
The project marks another major return to comedy for an entertainer whose career has stretched across stand-up, television, film and music.

Foxx’s addition gives the comedy initiative another high-profile headliner with a career spanning multiple entertainment genres.

“Jamie Foxx: Take Care of Yourself” premieres October 7 on Hulu.
Eligible subscribers will also be able to access the special through Hulu on Disney+ in the United States, while the project is set to stream internationally on Disney+.
Hulu has not yet disclosed the special’s runtime or whether Foxx will feature any guest appearances.
