Drake is switching up his signature style — and Pinkchyu has him going full goth.
The rapper debuted a dramatically different look alongside Pinkchyu in the “Princess” music video, which played during his FOMO stream Tuesday night. Instead of his usual wardrobe, Drake embraces an all-black aesthetic complete with a spiked choker, baggy pants and boots.
The makeover comes as Drake and Pinkchyu continue spending time together, with the goth creator seemingly bringing the rapper deeper into her world.
In the video, Pinkchyu gives Drake a head-to-toe transformation before the pair head out together. They are shown walking hand-in-hand through a mall after visiting Hot Topic, followed by a trip through a park and an intimate Medieval Times show.
Drake fully commits to the new aesthetic throughout the outing.
The latest style switch is another chapter in the unusual connection between the rapper and Pinkchyu, who first made headlines after winning Drake’s viral dating challenge last month.
Pinkchyu previously got Drake to bark during the challenge, and she later said he was following through on a promise to buy her mother a house.
The pair subsequently reunited in Toronto, where Drake rented out Casa Loma for a private date featuring sushi, drinks and the castle largely to themselves.
Now, Pinkchyu appears to have influenced more than just Drake’s dating life — she has also left her mark on his wardrobe.
For the “Princess” video, Champagne Papi traded his familiar look for black-on-black goth fashion, proving he is willing to step outside his usual style when Pinkchyu is around.
