Yung Miami’s solo era just picked up another major milestone.
The former City Girls star’s breakout single “Spend Dat” has reached RIAA platinum eligibility, adding another major achievement to a 2026 campaign that has already pushed her solo career into the Billboard Top 20.
Released April 24, the J. White Did It-produced track became Miami’s breakout record for the relaunched Uptown Records. “Spend Dat” climbed to No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topped multiple radio charts during its run.
Now, the song has reached the RIAA threshold for platinum eligibility.
The milestone arrives months after Miami became one of the first artists signed to the revived Uptown Records under Republic Collective, alongside G Herbo and Trap Dickey.
“This is a legendary label being resurrected,” Miami previously said of the move. “Uptown already feels like home.”
The label’s history adds another layer to the moment. Uptown Records played a major role in hip-hop and R&B, with artists including Mary J. Blige, Jodeci and Heavy D among its notable acts.
For Miami, “Spend Dat” has become the centerpiece of her transition into a solo chapter beyond City Girls and her work with JT.
The song’s success has also extended beyond its original release. Lil Baby and Kodak Black joined the U.S. remix, while Davido, Shenseea and Vybz Kartel appeared on the international version.
The RIAA milestone reflects consumption across eligible formats, including permanent digital downloads and on-demand audio and video streams. Under the certification standards described in the source material, 150 qualifying streams count as one certified unit.
“Spend Dat” has continued its Billboard Hot 100 run for multiple weeks, while Miami has also brought the record to national radio and live stages.
After years of success with City Girls, the song represents a significant marker in Miami’s solo catalog — and another step toward her anticipated solo debut album.
For now, “Spend Dat” has already delivered a Billboard Top 20 hit, major remix collaborations and an RIAA platinum-eligibility milestone, giving Yung Miami another headline-making chapter in her solo era.
