Newly released police body-camera footage captures the emotional aftermath of Christian Styles’ death, with family members and others at the scene heard crying as officers investigated what happened at his Michigan home.
The footage, which is heavily redacted, shows officers walking up the driveway and entering the garage. Their questions are accompanied by audible sobs from people trying to process the discovery.
At one point, an officer repeatedly tells a visibly distressed woman to “take a breather” as she struggles to compose herself.
The emotional scene follows the discovery of Styles, who was found dead inside a bedroom at his home at just 29 years old.
According to the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office report, Styles died from alcohol and mitragynine toxicity. Mitragynine is the active ingredient in kratom, a product associated with pain relief and energy and available without a prescription.
The medical examiner’s report states that Styles had a blood alcohol concentration of .168 at the time of his death.
The report also noted a history involving substances including heroin and methamphetamine. His parents had reportedly been checking on him regularly before his death.
A separate 911 recording from the incident provides an even more frantic account of the response. The audio includes crying and yelling as a caller sought help and performed CPR.
Styles had built a large following on OnlyFans after joining the platform in 2021. His death in August prompted an investigation that has now produced both the medical examiner’s findings and recordings documenting the immediate response.
The newly released body-camera footage does not show Styles himself. Instead, it captures the people around him confronting the reality of his death — with grief audible before the full circumstances were known.
At 29, Styles’ death has now been documented through medical records, emergency audio and police footage, providing a stark record of the moments surrounding the loss.
