Renni Rucci is getting back in the studio — and she wants the Carolina rap scene to know it.
The South Carolina rapper and Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta star announced her return to recording Monday, September 28, sharing an “A Day in the Life: Work Edition” vlog on Instagram.
The video follows Rucci through a packed day as she balances motherhood and her entertainment career. She gets a manicure and pedicure, drops her children off with babysitters and later appears as a guest during an entertainment taping.
But music remains the main event.
“I’m back in the studio on you bitches this week because I see y’all getting real comfortable around this motherfucka, like y’all really don’t know who really the ‘Carolina Queen,’” Rucci said in the video.
Her Instagram caption kept the same energy, telling fans to “tap in” because she was back.
Rucci has not announced a release date for a new single, album or mixtape, so it remains unclear what project — if any — will follow her return to recording.
For now, the announcement marks a return to the creative side of her career while she continues navigating life as a mother and entertainer.
The timing also comes as her boyfriend, fellow South Carolina rapper Blacc Zacc, remains in federal custody awaiting trial. The couple recently welcomed a son while Zacc was in custody.
Rucci’s latest vlog therefore captures more than a studio comeback. It shows the rapper moving between motherhood, entertainment appearances and music as she prepares to step back into a space she clearly believes is still hers.
Whether the return produces new music soon or simply signals the beginning of a new chapter, Rucci’s message is clear: she’s back behind the microphone.
