Lil Wayne may have just taken his relationship with 23-year-old Madi Cannon to the next level — and this time, the rapper was the one putting the engagement rumors on blast.
Wayne appeared in a video shared by fellow Hot Boys member B.G. on Monday, Sept. 28, as B.G. celebrated his own engagement to girlfriend Brooke Jones.
While congratulating his longtime friend, Wayne suddenly turned the spotlight toward Cannon, who was standing beside him.
“I’m marrying this one,” Wayne said. “This is Madison. This is my fiancée.”
Cannon also congratulated B.G. and Jones, while Wayne quickly got into wedding-planning mode for his fellow Hot Boys member.
“Let us know what color we’re wearing. I’m the best man, you heard me,” Wayne joked.

B.G. later shared the interaction on Instagram, giving fans another public glimpse at Wayne and Cannon together.
The moment is significant because it appears to be Wayne’s clearest public acknowledgment yet that he and Cannon intend to get married. It also comes after months of speculation — and a very different statement from Wayne himself.
Reports linking Wayne and Cannon romantically surfaced earlier this year, with TMZ reporting in May that the rapper had quietly become engaged to a woman in her 20s from Indiana. Cannon was later identified as the woman in those reports.
Neither Wayne nor Cannon initially confirmed the engagement publicly.
Cannon, a social media influencer from Kokomo, Indiana, subsequently began appearing alongside Wayne in public. In June, sports commentator Skip Bayless shared a photograph featuring the couple alongside Bayless and his wife, Ernestine.
But in July, Wayne appeared to shut down the engagement talk himself.
“No, I am not engaged,” the Grammy-winning rapper said while discussing his relationship status.
Wayne also revealed at the time that he had separated from someone he described as an “amazing person,” saying, “So, we decided to part.”

He did not identify that person as Cannon.
Wayne’s latest comments therefore raise questions about what changed between his July denial and his September introduction of Cannon as his fiancée.
Neither Wayne nor Cannon has publicly explained when they reconciled, when Wayne proposed or whether they have selected a wedding date.
Wayne, 43, has previously been engaged to model La’Tecia Thomas and singer Nivea. He shares children with Nivea, Lauren London, Toya Johnson and Sarah Vivan.
The apparent engagement also arrives as Wayne remains active professionally, including his “20 Years of Carter Classics” tour celebrating the legacy of his influential “Tha Carter” album series.
For now, there is no wedding date to announce. But after previously saying he was not engaged, Lil Wayne has now publicly introduced Madi Cannon as the woman he plans to marry.
