Rick Ross is back on the outside — and the rapper wasted little time laying out his post-jail plans.
Ross walked out of Miami-Dade jail Thursday after his arrest on battery charges, maintaining that he is “totally innocent” of the allegations against him. He then appeared to map out a very Ross-style weekend: Dubai on Friday, Paris on Saturday and rigatoni covered in “heavy marinara” on Sunday.
The rapper also took to Instagram after his release, where he shifted from legal trouble to his music and larger-than-life persona.
Ross promoted his new music and declared, “I’m bigger than Justin Bieber,” before predicting that news helicopters would be hovering over his mansion once the weather clears.

He also referenced O.J. Simpson while discussing the level of attention surrounding him following the arrest, suggesting the media frenzy could become even bigger.
And apparently, jail did nothing to cool his creative plans. Ross said he was in the mood to record music and instructed his team to get the studio ready.
The release came hours after Ross appeared before Judge Mindy Glazer in court. During the hearing, his attorney Bradley Horenstein had asked whether his release could be expedited, citing Ross’ celebrity status and concerns about his safety in jail.
Glazer responded that she had “no idea who you are” and told Ross he would be treated fairly like everyone else in the courtroom.
Ross had surrendered to authorities Thursday after an ex-girlfriend reported an alleged August 28 incident. According to law enforcement sources cited in the supplied report, she accused him of striking her and choking her, among other alleged acts.
Ross was arrested on felony battery by strangulation and misdemeanor battery charges and has pleaded not guilty. His attorneys have also said he is innocent and is being wrongfully accused.
Now that he’s out, Ross appears ready to put the case behind him for the moment — with Dubai, Paris, pasta and a recording session already competing for his attention.
