Kim Kardashian is taking the mother-daughter resemblance to another level this Halloween. The reality star and SKIMS founder has unveiled a dramatic costume inspired by her 13-year-old daughter, North West, recreating the teenager’s alternative aesthetic with turquoise hair, faux facial piercings and gothic accessories.
Kardashian shared a series of photos on Instagram on Tuesday, October 20, showing off the transformation ahead of Halloween. The look was designed to mirror North’s distinctive fashion choices, making the resemblance between the two the centerpiece of the photoshoot.
The transformation went well beyond a wig and dark clothing. Kardashian wore waist-length turquoise hair, spiky prosthetic eyelashes and faux facial piercings, capturing several of the details associated with her daughter’s evolving style.
She completed the look with black grills and long, pointed stiletto nails decorated with intricate black-and-silver designs. Her outfit featured an oversized black graphic T-shirt layered over black-and-white striped sleeves, paired with a chunky silver chain and a skull-and-crossbones pendant.
“Halloween 2026!” Kardashian wrote in the caption accompanying the photos.
The resemblance also caught the attention of her famous family. Kourtney Kardashian Barker reacted with “Twins!!!!!!” while Kris Jenner described the costume as “so fun.”
In several of the images, Kardashian copied North’s signature poses, using her hands to partially cover her face and draw attention to the elaborate nails, jewelry and facial details.
North, the eldest child of Kardashian and rapper Kanye West, has increasingly embraced an alternative aesthetic featuring dark makeup, blue lips and spiked accessories. Her distinctive look provided the inspiration for her mother’s Halloween transformation.
The costume also arrives amid the Kardashian-Jenner family’s reputation for elaborate Halloween looks and highly produced themed photoshoots. Kardashian’s decision to recreate her daughter’s style puts North’s fashion identity front and center, turning the teenager’s signature aesthetic into a full Halloween look.
With turquoise hair, black grills and gothic accessories, Kardashian committed to the transformation rather than offering a loosely inspired costume. And judging by her family’s reactions, the resemblance was a major part of the appeal.
