Destiny’s Child members Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams reunited in the crowd at Jay-Z’s Los Angeles concert, giving fans a rare public glimpse of the three stars together while the rapper delivered his performance at SoFi Stadium.
The trio were spotted dancing together in a stadium suite on Friday night, enjoying the show and bringing a little nostalgia to an already star-studded evening.
Beyoncé, Rowland and Williams rose to global fame as members of Destiny’s Child, one of the most successful girl groups of their era. Their appearance together at Jay-Z’s concert offered a reminder of their enduring connection, even as each woman continues to pursue her own career.
But the group reunion was only one of the night’s major highlights.
Beyoncé also watched as her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, joined Jay-Z onstage to play piano during performances of “The Story of O.J.” and “Dead Presidents.”
After the performance, Blue Ivy embraced her father and waved to the audience gathered inside the stadium. The moment added a family highlight to Jay-Z’s concert, with his daughter taking part in two of his songs in front of the packed crowd.
Meanwhile, Rihanna was another major celebrity spotted at the venue. The “Umbrella” singer watched from the stadium’s ground floor, where she was seen enjoying the music and posing for pictures with fans.
Her appearance added another heavyweight name to the guest list, alongside Beyoncé, Destiny’s Child and the Carter family.
For fans of the legendary girl group, however, seeing Beyoncé, Kelly and Michelle together was a standout moment. The three artists have long maintained individual careers since Destiny’s Child stopped releasing music as a group, making their public appearances together a source of interest for longtime followers.
Their appearance did not come with an announcement of new music or a formal Destiny’s Child reunion project. It was, instead, a shared night out at Jay-Z’s show.
Jay-Z is scheduled to return to SoFi Stadium for another performance, leaving the door open for more celebrity sightings. After a night featuring Destiny’s Child together, Blue Ivy on piano and Rihanna in the crowd, the next show has plenty to live up to.
