Neil Cavuto, a founding anchor at Fox News and a prominent figure in business journalism, has announced his departure from the network after a remarkable 28-year tenure. Despite Fox News offering him a contract renewal, Cavuto opted to exit as his current deal expires at the end of 2024. Known for his signature programs like Your World, Cavuto Coast to Coast, and Cavuto Live, Cavuto leaves behind a legacy that has set the standard in business news reporting.

Fox News praised Cavuto’s illustrious career in a statement, highlighting his contributions to the network’s election coverage and major breaking news events, including the Russian invasion of Ukraine and inflation crises. As one of the most respected voices in business and political journalism, Cavuto also authored two bestselling books and previously served as a White House intern under the Carter administration.

While Cavuto’s next steps remain undisclosed, his departure opens a new chapter for Fox News, with rotating hosts temporarily taking over his time slots until new programming is unveiled in 2025.
