Xzibit is ready to reclaim his single status. The rapper has filed legal documents in Los Angeles requesting to be declared legally divorced from his estranged wife, Krista Joiner — even though their full settlement is still pending.
According to the documents, Xzibit asked the court to bifurcate the divorce — meaning he wants to separate their marital status from the unresolved issues of child and spousal support. If granted, this would allow Xzibit to be legally single while negotiations and proceedings continue.
Separation and Delays
The “Pimp My Ride” star notes that he and Krista have been separated for over four years. Although a trial date is scheduled for next month, he acknowledges that the case could take much longer to resolve.
Xzibit’s attorneys claim they have made several attempts this month to reach out to Krista and her legal team to finalize the divorce but have received no response.
Ongoing Financial Disputes
This latest filing comes after Krista requested an additional $30,000 per month in support, arguing that she and their son had to leave their $10,000-a-month, four-bedroom, four-bathroom home. She also complained about being unable to maintain the luxury lifestyle they once enjoyed, including affording designer clothes.

Both Xzibit and Krista have yet to publicly comment on the recent filing.
