It was a birthday to remember for Shai Moss, the daughter of rapper and actor Bow Wow, who turned 14 in unforgettable fashion — with Chris Brown and Ray J serenading her backstage at the final night of the Millennium Tour 2025.

Taking to Instagram, Bow Wow proudly shared a heartfelt clip of the moment, captioning it:

“Happy b-day @_shaimoss — my daughter 14! On the last night of the Millennium Tour, she got her uncles @chrisbrownofficial and @rayj to sing. What a moment!”

In the video, Chris Brown and Ray J — two of Shai’s longtime “uncles” in the industry — join voices to sing a special rendition of “Happy Birthday” backstage at The Forum in Los Angeles, where the tour wrapped up. The touching surprise added an extra sparkle to an already massive night for Shai, who got to celebrate her milestone surrounded by music legends and family.

Bow Wow added a humorous touch to the caption, recalling Ray J’s reaction:

“PS: Ray said, ‘What if CB wasn’t here? I would’ve had to sing this alone??? That’s not OK!’ ???? #MillenniumTour25 — threw her party inside The Forum!!!”

The birthday celebration doubled as a sweet father-daughter bonding moment and a behind-the-scenes highlight for the tour’s finale.

    A Deep Father-Daughter Bond

This isn’t the first time Bow Wow has shared emotional moments with his daughter publicly. Around Christmas last year, he posted a heartfelt video capturing a deeply personal exchange between him and Shai. In the clip, Shai gives a touching speech, saying:

“You’re my day one. I know if I need anything, I know to call you. I’m so happy God chose you to be my dad. I wish every little girl [could] experience having a father figure like you and have the relationship we have.”

She continued, her voice filled with emotion:

“Christmas is all about love, family, and togetherness. I’m so thankful to celebrate Christmas with you. Thank you for being an incredible dad. I love you.”

A visibly emotional Bow Wow responded with love and a bit of playful tough-guy humor:

“I love you. My baby girl. You know we Mosses. You gotta wipe them tears now. We gotta keep it tough now.”

    Shai joked in return:

“I wasn’t supposed to cry, he was supposed to cry!”

    Bow Wow replied:

    “Everyone’s crying on Christmas!”

The rapper also shared a video of a touching Christmas gift from Shai, saying in the caption:

“Almost made dad cry. She almost had me y’all. Damn, this touched my heart. BEST GIFT EVER … (I went to bathroom and let my tears fall y’all then came back out a G).”

Shai Moss: A Star in Her Own Right

Shai Moss, whose mother is Joie Chavis, has grown up in the public eye, and fans have seen her personality shine over the years. She’s become known for her charm, wit, and budding interest in the entertainment world — just like her dad.

From red carpet appearances to viral TikTok videos, Shai is already gaining a following of her own. And with strong influences like Bow Wow, Chris Brown, and Ray J in her life, her path forward looks bright.

    The Millennium Tour’s Emotional Farewell

The Millennium Tour 2025 has been a nostalgic celebration of early-2000s R&B and hip-hop, with Bow Wow, Omarion, Mario, Ray J, Pretty Ricky, and other iconic acts reuniting to perform their biggest hits across the country.

Ending the tour with such a personal moment — Shai’s birthday party at The Forum — was a fitting conclusion to a journey filled with throwbacks, fan love, and emotional reconnections.

For Bow Wow, it was more than a tour stop. It was a full-circle fatherhood moment:

“To watch my daughter grow, to celebrate her birthday backstage on a night like this… that’s the real reward,” he said in a follow-up Instagram story.
