Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan may have passed away earlier this month, but fans can still experience his larger-than-life presence at the upcoming Slam Sports Bar in New York City. The bar, which Hogan began planning before his sudden death, promises never-before-seen footage, memorabilia, and a full celebration of Hulkamania.
TMZ spoke with Rich Rosen, President & CEO of American Sports Bar Entertainment, who shared exclusive details about the highly anticipated multi-level venue.
Exclusive Footage & Sentimental Moments
Rich revealed that the bar will feature exclusive videos of Hulk Hogan touring the 9,000-square-foot space, reflecting on his career and the rise of Hulkamania.
“It was the most unbelievable thing to stare at him and look in his eyes the way he was looking at this building,” Rosen said. “He says, ‘You know, when I’m in New York, I still feel like I’m the champ,’ and you can see it all coming out of him.”
Fans will also be treated to clips of Hogan’s biggest fights playing on rotation during the bar’s opening night and likely throughout its first week before current sporting events take over.

Life-Size Statues & Iconic Memorabilia
The bar will house life-size statues of Hulk Hogan, memorabilia from his career, and items from some of his fiercest rivals. This unique setup ensures that Hulk’s legacy in the wrestling world is front and center, giving fans an immersive experience like no other.
A Hub for Sports, Celebrities & Podcasts
Adding to the bar’s exclusivity, it will feature a podcast studio overlooking Madison Square Garden, designed to host celebrities and sports stars. Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, played a key role in the project, supporting his father and helping bring his vision to life.
“You could tell Nick had his father’s back during planning, and Hulk leaned on him while working on it together,” Rosen said.
Ric Flair and Lex Luger have also expressed interest in participating in the bar’s grand opening, making it a true wrestling superstar celebration.
Expansion Plans & Culinary Touches
While the NYC location is the first, plans could see Slam Sports Bars opening in Las Vegas, Florida, Dubai, or Japan. The bar will also feature a Michelin-star chef and partial design input from the creators behind the Sphere in Vegas, ensuring it’s as luxurious as it is memorable.
“It’s go Hulk or go home,” Rosen said, hinting at a late-fall opening for the flagship location.
Remembering the Hulkster
From Madison Square Garden views to podcast studios and memorabilia, the Slam Sports Bar will serve as a living tribute to Hulk Hogan’s epic career, allowing fans to celebrate the man behind Hulkamania in a one-of-a-kind experience.
