Renowned media personality Kasuku has offered candid advice to men about relationships with single mothers and fathers. According to him, if a man is not in a rush to settle down, it’s best to avoid dating single parents due to the emotional and financial complexities tied to their past relationships.
Emotional and Financial Ties to Exes
Kasuku argues that many single parents maintain connections with their former partners, often leading to challenges in new relationships.
“These days, we have a problem of fallbacks. They separate and abuse each other, and when they see each other looking good again, they start communicating again,” he stated.
He highlighted how exes often reappear, claiming to provide financial support for their children but, in reality, attempting to rekindle old flames.
Manipulative Exes and Relationship Interference
According to Kasuku, some men are particularly adept at manipulating their former partners into rekindling their past relationships, sometimes at the expense of their new partners.
“These men would start twisting words and their character to get the woman back and make them leave their newfound relationships,” he explained.
This recurring pattern, he says, has resulted in some single mothers having multiple baby daddies, as they move from one relationship to another without fully detaching from their past.
The Exception: Healed and Organized Single Mothers
Despite his reservations, Kasuku acknowledges that not all single mothers fall into this cycle.
“There are single mothers who have genuinely organized themselves and realized where the problem was. These women have taken the time to heal and grow from their past mistakes,” he noted.
His advice has sparked discussions online, with some agreeing with his perspective while others argue that every individual’s situation is unique. Nonetheless, his words serve as food for thought for those considering relationships with single parents.
