Actress Maria Bello has officially filed for divorce from her wife, celebrity chef Dominique Crenn, just one year after tying the knot.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Bello submitted the paperwork on Wednesday, listing April 7 as the couple’s official separation date — exactly one year after they wed.
Cites “Irreconcilable Differences”
In the filing, Maria cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for ending the marriage. The couple share no children, and there are no custody or support issues involved.
Bello also stated that spousal support arrangements would be determined by a written agreement between the parties, and she requested that mediation costs be split. It’s currently unclear whether the couple had a prenup in place.
From Oscars Glam to Quiet Split
Maria and Dominique made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2020 Academy Awards, shortly after getting engaged during a romantic trip to Paris in December 2019.
Their whirlwind romance became a fan favorite, especially after Crenn became the first and only female chef in the U.S. to earn three Michelin stars for her renowned San Francisco restaurant, Atelier Crenn.
Dominique’s Rising Culinary Stardom
Aside from dominating the culinary world, Crenn has made waves in pop culture. She’s appeared on Food Network, contributed to major TV projects, and even worked as a consultant for the film “The Menu,” starring Ralph Fiennes.
While the divorce marks the end of a high-profile relationship, both women continue to shine in their respective fields.
Story developing.
