In the caption, Justin fondly recalled times spent together, like persuading Bruce to use his $20 allowance on Friday night hockey games, and the fun they had when Bruce would playfully heckle referees during Justin’s games.
Bruce, who was the father of Justin’s mother, Pattie Mallette, played an important role in Justin’s rise to stardom. He even appeared in Justin’s 2011 documentary Never Say Never, where he spoke emotionally about witnessing his grandson’s meteoric success.
