Todd Chrisley Released from Prison After Trump Pardon — Heads Home to Nashville

Todd Chrisley is a free man once again.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ that Todd and his daughter Savannah are already en route to Nashville, hours after his release from Federal Prison Camp Pensacola on Wednesday evening.

Pardon Comes Two Years Into 12-Year Sentence

The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirmed that Todd’s prison term is officially over, thanks to a presidential pardon signed off by former President Donald Trump earlier this week.

Todd was convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion in 2022 and had been sentenced to 12 years behind bars. His wife, Julie Chrisley, was serving a 7-year sentence — but both only served two years before receiving clemency.

The emotional moment was preceded by a press conference from Savannah Chrisley, where she expressed gratitude and hope for her parents’ return.

    Trump Personally Announced the Pardon

In a dramatic twist, Trump himself called Savannah on Tuesday to share the news — a moment that was captured and later shared with fans. Savannah also posted a photo of Trump signing the official paperwork that cleared her parents’ names.

    Lifetime Cameras Were Rolling

For fans of the Chrisley family, this won’t just be a private family moment — it’s all being filmed for their upcoming Lifetime reality show, which promises to document the family’s emotional reunion and new chapter post-prison.

Expect to see it all unfold in what’s likely to be must-watch TV for fans of the famously close-knit — and often controversial — family.

What About the $17.8 Million in Restitution?

Legal experts speaking to TMZ say there’s a chance the Chrisleys may not have to pay back the $17.8 million in court-ordered restitution due to the nature of the presidential pardon. However, it’s still unclear whether the financial penalties have been officially waived or will be renegotiated.

    What’s Next for the Chrisleys?

With both Todd and Julie now out of prison, the Chrisleys are expected to reunite with loved ones in Nashville — and begin rebuilding their lives after a highly publicized legal ordeal.

As for what’s ahead, the upcoming Lifetime series will likely offer the first in-depth look at how the Chrisleys plan to move forward.

Stay tuned — this story is still developing.
