Speaking from prison during a phone interview with CNN’s Laura Coates, the former Death Row Records boss offered advice to Diddy, suggesting that testifying in court could “humanize” him in front of the jury — and possibly lead to an acquittal.
“His silence makes him look scared to face the music,” Suge said. “He should have his faith in God and tell his truth.”

Despite their long and often hostile history, Suge told Coates that he believes Diddy should walk free — adding that the prosecutors have yet to clearly prove the charges against him.
Suge reiterated this stance in a separate interview with Chris Cuomo earlier this week, stating, “We’re not friends. But I still think he should definitely walk.”
