3 Texas Women Charged After Alleged Nightclub Attack Cited in Court Documents

Three Texas women are facing criminal charges following an alleged group assault outside a nightclub, according to arrest affidavits and reports obtained by WFAA.

The court documents describe a chaotic scene in which witnesses reportedly heard inflammatory statements before a physical altercation broke out. Authorities say the incident occurred on June 21 and resulted in injuries to the victim, who later helped identify the suspects through social media.

The women—identified as Ciarrianne Fuller, Dejae Brown, and Alana Mumphrey, all 21—are each charged with assault causing bodily injury, according to police records.

Court Documents Detail Alleged Lead-Up to Attack

According to the affidavits, investigators relied on multiple witness statements describing events outside the nightclub before the alleged assault occurred.

A security guard reportedly observed a crowd gathering outside the venue and later heard someone allegedly make a threatening remark about striking a woman leaving the club.

Witnesses also told investigators they heard additional disturbing statements moments before the confrontation, according to the report.

At this stage, these statements are allegations contained in police affidavits and have not been tested in court.

    Alleged Assault Outside Nightclub

The victim is said to have walked into the area shortly after the reported comments were made, at which point investigators allege she was attacked by a group of women.

The security guard reportedly intervened and helped separate the individuals involved, allowing the victim to move away from the scene.

Police say the victim sustained injuries to the back of her head and her right eye as a result of the incident.

Authorities have not released further medical updates.

    Identification Through Social Media

According to the affidavit, the victim later identified the suspects through social media platforms.

Investigators also referenced a post allegedly made prior to the incident that suggested intent to engage in fights, which they say was reviewed as part of the broader investigation.

Police further reported that video of the altercation circulated online and was later recovered as evidence in a group text thread reviewed by detectives.

One message allegedly referenced regret after the incident, according to the documents.

These communications are part of the investigation and have not been independently verified in court proceedings.

    Charges Filed and Ongoing Investigation

Law enforcement officials say they are also monitoring online conversations related to the case and have coordinated with federal authorities out of caution.

However, investigators stated there is currently no evidence of a broader public safety threat connected to the incident.

Court proceedings are expected to continue as the case moves forward.

    Context Surrounding the Case

The affidavits reference a controversial figure, Karmelo Anthony, who was previously convicted in a separate high-profile Texas murder case involving Austin Metcalf.

Officials included references to alleged chants reported by witnesses during the nightclub incident, though the connection between that reference and the assault remains part of the broader investigation narrative presented in court documents.

Anthony’s prior case has drawn significant public attention, adding additional scrutiny to any mention linked to his name.

Why This Case Is Drawing Attention

The combination of witness statements, social media evidence, and viral video circulation has intensified public interest in the case.

Nightclub-related assaults often gain traction online, especially when accompanied by recorded footage and conflicting narratives from witnesses.

At this stage, however, the legal process is ongoing, and the allegations remain unproven in court.

    Human Angle

What began as a night out reportedly escalated into a violent confrontation now subject to criminal prosecution.

For the individuals involved, the case now shifts from a nightclub scene to a courtroom setting where evidence, testimony, and intent will be examined in detail.

As with all pending criminal cases, the outcome will depend on what is ultimately established through the judicial process.

For now, the charges remain allegations, and the court will determine what actually occurred outside the nightclub that night.
