50 Cent had plenty to say after Atlanta rapper Lil Baby confessed to losing a staggering $8–9 million during a 40-hour gambling spree. The jaw-dropping admission came during Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place Podcast, where Lil Baby detailed his struggle with gambling addiction and the drastic measures he took to stop.

“One day, probably in like 40 hours straight, I lost $8 million, $9 million,” Lil Baby revealed during the interview, adding that the experience forced him to confront his addiction.

To curb the habit, he enlisted billionaire and Fanatics founder Mike Rubin to write letters banning him from casinos. “I made myself stop gambling. I had Mike Rubin write a letter to every casino banning me, ’cause I just do stuff like that,” Baby shared, emphasizing that he no longer gambles.

    50 Cent’s Hilarious Take

Reacting to a clip of Lil Baby’s confession shared on Instagram, 50 Cent offered his signature humor.

“Nah, these young [ninja emoji] crazy. $8 million gambling? I thought only Floyd [Mayweather] did stuff like that. LOL. Come out the joint looking distraught. I’m just glad he didn’t kill nobody,” the rapper and mogul joked.

In a follow-up comment, 50 added, “Come on, he said 1 day, because he lost it in 1 shot.”

    Lil Baby’s Gambling History

This isn’t the first time Lil Baby has opened up about his high-stakes gambling habit. In a 2022 episode of 360 With Speedy, he recalled losing $600,000 in one night while gambling with Drake in the Bahamas. Stories like these continue to highlight the risks that come with the extravagant lifestyle of hip-hop’s elite.

    Focusing on Music

Despite the headlines surrounding his gambling losses, Lil Baby has refocused on his music. His highly anticipated album WHAM (Who Hard as Me) is set to release on January 3, promising to start 2024 with a bang.

Meanwhile, 50 Cent, who never misses an opportunity to comment on viral moments, is gearing up for his Las Vegas residency, set to begin next week.

    Balancing Fortune and Risk

Lil Baby’s story, coupled with 50 Cent’s commentary, underscores the fine line between fortune and risk that defines the lives of many in the hip-hop world. Fans eagerly await WHAM and the next chapter in Lil Baby’s career as he puts his gambling days behind him.

Stay tuned for updates on Lil Baby’s album release, 50 Cent’s residency, and more from the world of hip-hop.
