A man who once had a brief fling with Casey Anthony is breaking his silence about her latest romance—and he’s got nothing but well wishes for the controversial Florida woman.
Antony Karagiannis, who spent some casual time with Casey in 2018, told TMZ he isn’t keeping tabs on her budding relationship with New Hampshire gun shop owner and former cop Ben Beauchemin. But when asked for his thoughts, he offered a short, heartfelt response:
“Good luck to both of them.”
Karagiannis added that he hopes Casey finds “peace and happiness with whatever she has left in her life.”
“We Were Never an Item”
Karagiannis made it clear he and Casey were never in a serious relationship—just two people who hung out a couple of times and had what he described as a “one-night stand.”
The Florida bartender recalled first meeting Casey after one of his late shifts in 2018. They grabbed drinks together and later met up with his friends at a saloon in West Palm Beach to catch a Yankees game.
At some point, the two became intimate.
But everything changed for Karagiannis once he discovered Casey’s controversial past.
Cutting Ties After Learning Her History
Karagiannis admitted he wasn’t aware at first that Casey had been charged with the murder of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee Anthony in 2008—a case that dominated national headlines. Though Casey was later acquitted of murder and manslaughter charges in 2011, public opinion has remained divided about her innocence.
Once Karagiannis connected the dots, he says he quickly ended all contact with her.
“Whatever happened with her and her kid, she’s going to take that to the grave with her,” he told TMZ.
Casey’s New Love Story With a Former Cop
Casey, 38, has recently been spotted getting cozy with Ben Beauchemin, an Army veteran and former Hooksett Police Department officer who now owns Wicked Weaponry, a gun shop in New Hampshire.
The pair were photographed enjoying beers and bar food in Manchester, NH earlier this week.
Interestingly, a source close to Ben’s family claims he’s currently estranged from them, allegedly over his relationship with Casey.

Casey’s every move has remained under a microscope since her acquittal. Her past relationships have sparked controversy, and her latest romance with Beauchemin—a man with a law enforcement background—has left many people talking.
