Scooter Braun Breaks Silence on Justin Bieber’s ‘Swag’ After 8-Figure Settlement

Scooter Braun and Justin Bieber may have gone their separate ways professionally, but there’s still mutual respect between the former manager and his once-teen prodigy.

On Saturday, Braun surprised fans by sharing a heartfelt Instagram Story about Bieber’s newly released album Swag—just weeks after the two settled an 8-figure financial dispute.

“Without a doubt, this is the most authentically Justin Bieber album to date,” Braun wrote. “It’s beautiful, raw, and truly him. And that matters.”

    A Bittersweet Reunion—Through Music

As many fans know, Braun discovered a 12-year-old Justin Bieber on YouTube back in 2007, launching him into global superstardom. The pair worked closely for over a decade, navigating Bieber’s meteoric rise and highly publicized personal struggles.

But in 2023, their professional relationship ended amid reports of growing tension. Things seemed to hit a financial snag when Braun’s company, Hybe, covered millions Justin allegedly owed to concert promoter AEG following the cancellation of his Justice tour.

    The $26 Million Settlement

According to reports, Bieber recently agreed to repay Hybe $26 million and an additional $5.5 million to Braun personally for unpaid commissions. The hefty payout reportedly closed the chapter on their financial disputes—and it seems Braun is choosing to move forward with positivity.

    “Proud” Despite the Past

In his post, Braun noted that while he witnessed Bieber’s musical evolution during their time together, this latest project feels like the singer’s most personal work yet.

“Justin has a special tone that’s still the best in the world,” Braun wrote, adding that he had no role in Swag’s creation but was impressed nonetheless.

He even shared his favorite track from the album—“Daisies”—which he described as a standout moment.

‘Swag’ Marks a New Era for Bieber

Bieber’s Swag album—his first since 2021’s Justice—dives deep into his private life, tackling themes like marriage, fame, and his mental health struggles. Fans have praised its vulnerability, with some calling it his most honest record yet.

Braun’s public praise seems to confirm what Beliebers have been saying: Bieber is in a new creative space and fully in control of his narrative.

    From Mentor to Admirer

The once inseparable duo may have parted ways professionally, but Braun’s comments prove there’s no lingering bad blood.

“I’m proud of him,” Braun wrote. “And I genuinely enjoy the album. It’s special.”
